Lavington School is 50 years old this year, as part of the celebrations we are planning an exciting Arts project to produce a stained glass window that will be positioned in the school foyer. We are working with a local artist Andrew Taylor who has kindly donated his time and expertise. Students are generating ideas for the final design which we will be selected after the Easter break. The chosen design will be made in a series of after school workshops during the summer term. If students are interested in working with stained glass and are willing to commit to come to the workshops see Mrs Best after the Easter break!!
Come along and join in the fun with a growing group of Minecraft fanatics. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes. The world we are building on the Lavington server is already mind-boggling, so come along and see what you can add.
