Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MPS)

Required for September 2010 an enthusiastic and suitably qualified teacher of French and German. The majority of KS4 students study a foreign language at GCSE. 

Lavington is an over-subscribed rural 11 – 16 school, judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted where students are keen and willing, parents are supportive and staff are friendly.  We became a Training School in April 2009 and provide a full induction programme for NQTs.

Supply Work

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults and therefore we have a strict process regarding recruitment of supply teachers.

If you have already been approved as a supply teacher by Wiltshire Council, you will need to bring in your approval letter together with your photographic proof of identity (passport or driving licence) and your CRB disclosure, before you can undertake any supply work for the school.

If you have not already been approved as a supply teacher by Wiltshire Council, we recommend that you arrange this as soon as possible.  Contact  Wiltshire Council Human Resources department on 01225-713000 to begin the process.  We regret we cannot employ you until this is complete.
