We are very lucky to have a large poly-tunnel and some garden plots for our use at Lavington.  As part of an extended curriculum some of our students will be studying horticulture and we would like to make full use of this facility.

 We are starting to prepare for planting and will need the following:

•           plastic plant pots

•           seeds (open packets welcomed)

•           any plants/seedlings

•           old wellington boots

We would be very grateful for any of the above or any other gardening  items that you no longer have use for.  There is  a box in the reception area for your donations. The box will be emptied daily. Many thanks for your support.

Year 11 will have their Leavers Assembly on 25th May and will finish school at 1.00pm. Ongoing revision classes will be available -please click here to download the timetable.

Please remind all students to sign in at the office when they attend any revision classes and sign out when leaving the school site.

Mrs. Teresa Chandler (nee Billett) is planning The “Big” School Reunion – for all ex-pupils and former and current staff of Lavington School over the last 50 years.  The event will be at Five Lanes Farm, Potterne, SN10 5PT on Saturday 21^st July 2012, from 7pm until late and will be held in a marquee and field.  Tickets are £5 to include a disco and buffet.  There will also be a licensed bar and hog roast.

Tickets will be available from several distributors after the school Easter holidays.

Mrs. Chandler would like any memorabilia or copies that you may have, for display purposes.
