House Championship: Celebrating Community, Competition and Charity
The House Championship is much more than a competition. It is an opportunity for every student to contribute to something bigger than themselves, while embodying the values that make our school community so special.
At the heart of the championship are the Three Cs:
Community
Our house system brings students together across year groups, creating a strong sense of belonging and teamwork. By working together, supporting one another and celebrating each other's successes, we strengthen our school community and build lasting connections.
Competition
Healthy competition encourages students to challenge themselves, develop resilience and strive for excellence. Whether through sport, academics, the arts or house events, the House Championship provides opportunities for all students to participate, contribute and achieve.
Charity
Giving back to others is a key part of our house ethos. Through fundraising and charitable initiatives, students learn the importance of compassion, service and social responsibility, making a positive difference both locally and beyond.
These principles reflect the wider ethos of our school. Through community, competition and charity, we promote the fundamental British values of democracy, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Alongside this, we continue to champion the qualities of kindness, respect and inclusivity, ensuring that every member of our school feels valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
The House Championship is a celebration of who we are as a school: a community that works together, strives for excellence, and cares for others.
