Welcome to L6 - Lavington 6th Form
Thank you for enquiring into our 6th Form. It is our aim to deliver a post 16 experience that creates the opportunity for you to grow and develop alongside the academic rigour you expect from Lavington School. I am very fortunate to lead a school which has passionate and dedicated specialist teachers, who want to support pupils through their education to achieve the very best. We are excited to extend this offer to include Sixth Form and I am personally very excited to welcome our first cohorts into L6 to begin, what I am confident will be a fantastic educational journey.
Our school values of kindness, respect and inclusivity extend and run through our post 16 provision but they also compliment an overtly ambitious 6th form, that will seek to push and challenge you, while nurturing your personal passions and ambitions.
I believe we have a 6th Form offer that will provide an enriching experience that will add significant value to your development alongside the A-levels you choose. We will get to know you, identifying your strengths and areas for development, while providing a learning package that will support your personal and academic progress. We will seek to provide opportunities through coordinated programmes such as Duke of Edinburgh (Silver and Gold), through exciting residential and non-residential trips and through carefully selected external speakers. You will be encouraged to lead, volunteer and involve yourself in wider school life building a diverse CV and personal statement in preparation for next steps.
