Teaching Assistant

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The Teaching Assistant role includes supporting individual students with their learning and generally working within a whole class setting.

Personal attributes

We are looking for applicants who have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, are excellent communicators and can relate well to students between 11 and 16 years of age. A genuine interest in supporting students' learning is essential, and applications are welcome from anyone wanting to gain pre-teacher training experience. Interest or experience in outdoor learning or ELSA is welcomed.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is £10.98 per hour, £21,189 per year pro rata. Grade D Pay Scales 4-6.
