I am proud to be the Headteacher of Lavington School and I am proud of the rural community the school serves. We are a hard working ambitious school who pride ourselves in providing the very highest quality of education possible. Students attend Lavington from a wide typically rural area, as a school of choice for many we know how important it is that we have the very highest expectations for the young people that attend.
We focus on maintaining a calm and orderly environment where students feel safe to challenge themselves and learn from passionate and knowledgeable specialist teachers. Lavington is a school where students enjoy their learning and embrace opportunities to take part in varied extra-curricular activities.
The behaviour of our students is excellent and there are clear boundaries and expectations for all students, students report that poor behaviour is rare and where it occurs it is dealt with quickly and effectively.

The school was inspected in June 2023, a copy of the report is available from the link below. We are pleased with the report. Lavington School remains a good school.
For parents, carers and students considering Lavington School we run a series of taster sessions and open mornings for Year 5 in the summer term (Term 6), followed by a formal open evening in September. Details will be published through the school's website and social media. For Year 6 we hold induction days in summer term (Term 6).
