The Art department contributed again to the Devizes lantern parade

on Friday 24 November, with an Indian inspired instillation of about 70 lanterns.

Bauble’s and star shaped lanterns were made in school by three Year 8 classes and were installed by DOCA into the market place around the monument.

Due to access restriction the display went up on Wednesda

y morning meaning the lanterns suffered two nights of torrential rain, amazingly they survived surprisingly well considering. Unfortunately technical issues on the night meant they were not illuminated for the crowds to see but were on display for a few days afterwards.
