The Channel swim is edging closer and closer, now only six weeks

until we hopefully start this exciting challenge to France!

On the 12 May the teams hit the beach at Durley Chine to complete a training day, the weather was bright and the sea was a warm 11 degrees. The swimmers completed three swims with an hour and a half intervals to prepare for life on the boat too. During the recovery time swimmers had to warm up, eat and hydrate ready for the next swim. This was a great opportunity for the teams to bond, with the sun shining they even managed to squeeze in a game of Rounders.

The swimmers are all working very hard training and fund raising for this amazing challenge: please if you can support the swimmers and donate to Cure leukaemia using our gofundme page.
